Looking for a job or internship? Join the Career Center and the UMBC Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers for an exclusive networking event designed to help you make meaningful connections that can lead to an interview or career advancement.
This event is for ALL UMBC STUDENTS and ALL MAJORS.
What to Expect
- Networking with a Purpose: Meet employers who are actively looking to hire UMBC students from a wide range of disciplines. Make sure to research the employers you're interested in connecting with via the Employers Tab on Handshake.
- Dinner and Great Conversation: Enjoy FREE dinner, hors d’oeuvres, and dedicated networking time in a relaxed setting. Our sit-down dinner is specifically designed to spark great conversations with employers interested in students in your major.
- Keynote Speaker: Get career advice from successful UMBC alumna, Talmesha Richards '04, chemical engineering and mathematics. She'll share her insights on "From Potential to Power: Building a Career Rooted in Identity, Innovation, and Impact."
How to Prepare
- Dress professionally and bring several copies of your resume.
