As many of you know, the holidays are approaching and the Women's Center is holding a donation drive for Sarah's Hope, a homeless shelter for women and children (see attached flyer), in Baltimore. Homelessness and hunger are issues that are prevalent and affect those even in our own communities. Learn more about what's being done about it and what you can do. Check out the event below:

We will be discussing the implications of homelessness and hunger and we will explore the programs and initiatives that have been established in Baltimore City that aim to help those who are living in poverty or impoverished. This event was made in accordance with the National Homelessness and Hunger Awareness Week (NHHAW).
Free Popcorn and smoothies are free provided that you donate $2 or more dollars or donate three items of non-perishable food. All donations will help to purchase a Thanksgiving dinner for the Jernigan Family in Baltimore.
