Dear Colleagues,
We are writing to share the Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) salary guidelines received from the University System of Maryland for regular faculty and staff, graduate assistants, Contingent I and II staff, and adjunct faculty.
The FY27 state budget includes a 1.5 percent cost of living adjustment (COLA), effective July 1, 2026. A COLA will be provided to regular faculty and staff, Contingent I and II staff, adjunct faculty, and graduate assistants in accordance with university policy and practice. Eligible employees must have been on the university payroll on or before June 30, 2026, to be eligible for the COLA.
The FY27 state budget does not include funding for merit increases.
