Supplier Spotlight: BISM - Blind Industries and Services of Maryland

Procurement and Strategic Sourcing invite you to attend June's Supplier Spotlight, which will be held with BISM - Blind Industries and Services of Maryland, a preferred provider by the State.

BISM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports the blind and low-vision community by educating, training, employing, and empowering them to be confident and lead independent lives. Their manufacturing and retail businesses are the largest employers of blind and low-vision individuals in Maryland. Their Independence Training and Rehabilitation (ITR) Division provides structured training and employment opportunities, offering programs and services that provide comprehensive life skills training for blind and low-vision youth, adults, and seniors.  Our instructors, most of whom are blind, serve as mentors and teach nonvisual life skills classes in braille, technology, independent living, cane travel, and woodshop.
