Election Night Extravaganza Is Back!

Election Night Extravaganza is a UMBC tradition that brings our campus community together as the election season comes to a close.

Join us in The Commons on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 7 p.m. to midnight to follow election results from Maryland and across the country, connect with members of the UMBC community, and enjoy an evening of food, games, crafts, and conversation.

Whether you're following every race or simply curious to see how the night unfolds, here's what you can look forward to:

• Live election coverage: Watch results from Maryland and across the country as they come in throughout the evening.

• Small-group conversations: Talk through the results, explore the issues at stake, and consider what the outcomes could mean for our community.

• Free food and drinks: Enjoy food and refreshments throughout the evening.

• Games, crafts, and more: Take a break from election coverage and participate in games and other activities.

Election Night Extravaganza is co-sponsored by the Center for Democracy and Civic Life, Student Government Association, Graduate Student Association, Student Events Board, The Women's Center, and the Sondheim Public Affairs Scholars Program.

This event is open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
