Earl and Darielle Linehan Concert Hall
The Department of Music presents the UMBC Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Dustin Donahue. The ensemble will perform Edgard Varèse’s Ionisation, Susie Ibarra’s These Trees That Speak, and other works:
- Edgard Varèse — Ionisation
- Carlos Chávez — Toccata
- Oliver Panday — Webspinner (world premiere, UMBC student composer)
- Susie Ibarra — These Trees That Speak
- Dafnis Prieto — The Guiros Talk
- Elliott Cole — Postludes 6-8
- Ryuichi Sakamoto — Thousand Knives
- Hossam Ramzy — West Naima
Admission is free, and tickets are not required.
Linehan Concert Hall, located in the Performing Arts and Humanities Building, is easy to visit, with plenty of free parking. Please visit here for directions and parking information.
