Baltimore Dance Project
Baltimore Dance Project brings its edgy artistic collaborations between choreographers, composers, sound artists, visual artists, engineers, and technologists to the stage at UMBC. The company – now under the collective leadership of Ann Sofie Clemmensen, Carol Hess, Shaness Kemp, and Sandra Lacy – will present new and repertory works including Kemp’s hEATed: MY place, recently selected for the 37th Annual Choreographer Showcase, and Clemmensen’s Space Between (IN TO AND OUT OF, PART 2), commissioned by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of the 2019 Local Dance Commissioning Project. The program also includes solo and group works by Hess and Lacy, and Clemmensen’s Placed in Here, featuring guest artist Tim Bendernagel.
Tickets: $20 general admission; $10 with UMBC ID. Tickets available online. Tickets can also be purchased at the box office one hour prior to showtime.
