College Park, Md.- Third-ranked Maryland (4-0-1) used two late goals after visiting UMBC (2-1-2) tied the game with 28 minutes left and defeated the Retrievers, 3-1, at Ludwig Field. UMBC tied the game at 1-1 with 28 minutes remaining, but the Terrapins scored twice in less than five minutes to take the victory.
