UMBC softball looks for a fresh start as it welcomes Maine for its America East opening series this weekend. The Retrievers host the Black Bears in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 23, with first pitch set for 1 p.m. at the UMBC Stadium, and they close the series with a single game on Sunday, March 24 at 11 a.m.
