TAMPA, Fla. � UMBC men's soccer rising senior Pete Caringi III has concluded the 2013 Premier Development League (PDL) season by garnering the Young (U-21) Player of the Year Award, the league office announced Saturday evening. Having already received Player of the Weeks honors twice during the season, Caringi was also one of three finalists for the Most Valuable Player Award. In addition, he was selected to the 2013 PDL All-League Team as well as the All-Eastern Conference Team.
