Full Title: Men's Soccer Standout Dan Louisignau Named UMBC Athlete of the Month for OctoberBALTIMORE�Junior goalkeeper Dan Louisignau of the men's soccer team was named UMBC Athlete of the Month for October 2010 in a poll of fans conducted from Nov. 1-8. Louisignau received 864 out of 1,635 total votes (52.8 percent) to outdistance himself from runner-up Eric Jones of men's swimming (446 votes, 27.3 percent). Jennifer Kotonias of women's swimming and Allie Spaay of volleyball were also nominated.
