For the fourth consecutive week, a UMBC men's soccer player has earned America East Conference Player of the Week honors. For games ending Sept. 22, Retriever junior midfielder Geaton Caltabiano earned the league's top honor and he also was tabbed to College Soccer News' Team of the Week. The stellar play of Caltabiano and his teammates has resulted in a 7-0-0 record, leaving the Retrievers and the Dayton Flyers (7-0-0) as the lone unbeaten and untied teams in the nation. UMBC has vaulted up nine places in the Top Drawer Soccer Top 25 to achieve its highest-ever ranking of No. 8.
