Stony Brook, N.Y.- The UMBC men's lacrosse team dropped a 16-5 decision to host Stony Brook in the America East Conference opener for both teams. The Retrievers fell to 2-5 overall, while the 15th-ranked Seawolves improved to 5-3. Freshman Zach Linkous led UMBC with a goal and two assists, while freshman attackman Ryan Johnston scored his first two collegiate goals and was named UMBC's America East Player of the Game.
