BALTIMORE�Junior attackman Jordan McBride, the nation's second-leading goal scorer, amassed six goals and visiting Stony Brook (6-3, 1-0, ranked No. 19) outlasted UMBC, 14-11, in the America East opener for both squads. The Retrievers had won 13 consecutive America East regular season home games dating back to a loss to Stony Brook in April of 2004. UMBC senior attackman Matt Latham, UMBC's America East Player of the Game, continued his assault on Stony Brook with a season-high four goals.
