Shop Maryland Tax-Free Week at the Bookstore! This runs from Sunday, August 9th through Saturday, August 15th, 2026. Available in-store and online. During this week, qualifying clothing and footwear priced at $100 or less (per item) are exempt from the state's sales tax. The first $40 of any backpack or bookbag purchase is also tax-free.
*Accessories, other than backpacks, are not included in the exemption.
