UMBC Bookstore: Bag Fee

In accordance with County Law and in an effort to reduce waste, the UMBC Bookstore will no longer provide single use bags. Paper Bags are available upon request for a fee of $0.05 fee per bag.

*Fee based on the County Council of Baltimore Country, Maryland Legislative Session 2023 Bill 1 -23 Bring Your Own Bag Act: "A Retail Establishment shall charge, collect, and retain at least 5 cents for each paper carryout bag...that it provides to a customer."
