Wellness Wednesday: Yoga and Heart Health
Interested in finding simple yet impactful ways to weave wellness into your professional and personal life? If so, please join faculty and staff colleagues for Wellness Wednesdays the first Wednesday of each month. Each session offers information, resources, and/or immersion into different wellness modalities that are supported at UMBC.
We all know that cardiovascular activities increase heart health, but did you know that yoga provides great prevention against cardiovascular disease by lowering blood pressure, increasing lung capacity, boosting circulation and muscle tone? Come join us in this heart-healthy Wellness Wednesday as we learn a yoga sequence to strengthen cardiovascular health.
