UMBC Wellness Initiative Vision:

We are a resilient, healthy community committed to the health and well-being of each of our faculty, staff, and students. We understand the connection between self-care and our responsibility to care for the whole. For the sake of the whole community we participate in wellness activities that sustain us on a physical, mental, and emotional level to carry out the mission and vision of UMBC. From this focus on wellness, we strengthen our community of caring and support, which serves as a model for higher education and the larger world.
