Welcome to our Weekly Study Tip post! This week is about how to have a productive (and restful) spring break!
You can check out our weekly video on this topic here. We hope you find it helpful!
1. Rest and Have Fun! You deserve to actually take a break this week. Every day, try to do something fun. Get outside if the weather is nice! See friends, spend quality time with family, or go on a spontaneous day trip somewhere. You should also take this time to catch up on sleep.
2. Prepare for summer or fall by checking in with the folks at the Career Center - you can update your resume, talk through the internship or job search process, or even discuss whether you think you're in the right major or not. Click the above link to make an appointment!
You should also make a Handshake account if you haven't yet. This is where you can search for jobs and internships, both on and off campus!
Want to work in a research lab? Check out the Biology and Chemistry department research pages, look at what your professors are doing in their labs, and send some emails indicating your interest.
3. Be productive! Make a list this week or early in spring break of all the tasks you want to get done throughout the week, whether that's catching up on back work, getting the preliminary work done on larger assignments, or creating some new systems for memorization and learning (pro tip: we recommend using Anki).
