Students can still Withdraw "W" or Change to S/U Grading
TOMORROW, Friday, April 3rd is the deadline to withdraw from individual courses "W" OR change grading methods to Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory "S/U".
W/S/U course options count as an attempt in the class but do NOT impact your GPA.
If withdrawing from one or more courses will bring you to less than full time status (12 credits) there may be impacts in other areas such as scholarship, financial aid, and on-campus housing. Questions about those areas should be directed to the appropriate office.
You will want to work through this helpful withdraw worksheet for more information on the withdraw policy, procedure, and checklist BEFORE you make any decisions.

Withdrawing from individual courses can be done via the Schedule and Registration system in myUMBC however S/U grading requires the submission of a Help Ticket. Information about S/U grading and the link to submit the Help Ticket can be found here.
Students can withdraw from the entire semester though the last day of classes, May 12th.
Be sure to confer with your assigned advisor about your academic options. Students who are assigned to a CNMS Advisor (Powers, Crosby, Racine, Barnaby) can drop by for walk-in advising support in UC 205 from 10:30-4PM tomorrow, April 3rd.
