If God Exists, Why the Coronavirus?
If there's a God, why are we dealing with Coronavirus?
Thursday, October 8, 2020 · 8 - 9:15 PM
Why would a good God allow COVID-19 to occur? How can an all powerful God allow a global pandemic to happen? How can a person cling to faith in a world that feels like it's always on fire? You are invited to attend a seminar called "If God Exists, Why the Coronavirus?" We will explore these questions and more in a special conversation where we will navigate faith amidst the grief, loss, and chaos of 2020. This presentation will be given by Jonathan Moynihan, a pastor at Mosaic Church. There will be a time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
The event will take place from 8:00pm-9:15pm via ZOOM. This event is free and open to UMBC students, faculty, staff, and the general public. All people from all faith backgrounds are welcome.
