Hybrid Course Design: Alternate Delivery Program Workshop
DoIT will host a full-day workshop for Alternate Delivery Program (ADP) participants Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 9:00 - 4:00 PM. The day will focus on using the Quality Matters Rubric to inform course structure. Participants will discuss student needs’ assessment and map goals and objectives to hybrid and face to face elements of content delivery. Online approaches to creating and managing course content will be discussed, including the use of assignments, assessments, and rubrics. Specific Blackboard tools including Adaptive Release, and the Grade Center will be reviewed as means to support design and student academic success. Participants will be matched with a specialist for program support and ADP milestones will be reviewed. DoIT will provide a boxed lunch. Please RSVP by close of business January 7, 2015 and note any dietary restrictions.
Alternate Delivery Program (ADP) workshop participants must register for both the Hybrid Course Design workshop on January 14, 2015 and the ADP workshop on January 15, 2015.
