UMBC is currently on version 4.0.6.
BestPractical, the RT vendor, has provided numerous patches and upgrades with the latest being version 4.0.21.
DoIT has applied these patches to our rt-dev-new.core.umbc.edu environment and I am requesting that all key users test functions key to their business use of RT. (This system use a yellow background to ensure easy identification of non-production).
The goal will be to upgrade by the end of this week as the interface and general functions are not impacted. This is mainly a security and minor bug fix release. (see http://bestpractical.com/release-notes/rt/4.0.21 if you desire the nitty-gritty)
I have tested most functions employed by DoIT and have found no issues to date. Please do the same for your area and share any issues via RT or this message.
This will require downtime and, as in the past, we will have a splash page indicating this. Also note we will be enhancing the web server recently put into production with additional CPU's as recommended by our vendor to continue current performance levels.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
