On August 11, 2014 I posted a news article indicating the availability of the rt-dev-new.core.umbc.edu test area fro RT 4.0.21. This version is primarily a security and minor bug patch.
I have not heard any negative responses to the testing and will move forward with the application of this patch on August 18, 2014 at 6pm. The downtime is expected to be very minimal but I still would like to manage expectations by allowing up to 1 hour. If you have any issues or suggestions please use this forum so everyone can benefit.
Please remember there is another outage planned for Friday, August 22, 2014 to allow our systems folks to apply important security patches to actual servers and add some additional CPU's to assist with performance. This downtime is estimated to take no more than 2 hours.
