The
UMBC Department of Education Research Seminar series concludes the fall semester with a presentation by Dr. Jane Arnold Lincove of the UMBC School of Public Policy. Dr.
Lincove will present work that investigates high school choice in City
Schools with a focus on the role of middle school performance and
student preferences in determining who gets seats in selective magnet
and CTE programs. The work is conducted in partnership with City Schools
and the Baltimore Education Research Consortium (BERC).
All members of the
department, partners/collaborators, and students/faculty from other departments and institutions are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided by the department. Please RSVP by completing this form by 3 December:
