Dr. Shannon Sauro, together with colleagues Judith Bündgens-Kosten of the Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany and Frederik Cornillie of KU Leuven in Belgium, published an article in a special issue of the journal Foreign Language Annals focused on language teaching in the wake of COVID-19. The article, entitled Storytelling for the Foreign Language Classroom, reports on how findings from their European-funded project FanTALES point to ways that digital storytelling offers research-based approaches to teaching and learning languages online.
