Dear Colleagues,
UMBC's annual Research Forum is one week away, on Friday, May 18th. This 2018 forum is cosponsored by the Dresher Center and the Office of the Vice President for Research. As with all forums in this series, the theme is a disciplinary topic intended to be of interest to the full campus community (especially faculty and graduate students) across all UMBC's colleges and schools. We intend for this to foster cross-college collaborations and a broader awareness of each others' work.
This year's theme is "Public Humanities and Health Justice." We hope you will join us on the 18th. Registration and refreshments begin at 8:30am and the event concludes with a 1pm-2pm buffet lunch. Details on the featured speakers, on the panelists, and on opportunities for you to exhibit your work are posted here. Please RSVP here if you would like to join us.
Sincerely,
—
