Weather permitting, a drone will be flying around the Math/Psychology building this week (Aug. 5-7) to survey the brick facades and window flashings. The drone will be flown within a few feet of the building going up/down, left/right across all facades. The drone will be equipped with a camera to record the existing conditions around the entire building. Safety spotters and flaggers will be present around the building to ensure any pedestrians in the area are kept safe from the drone flight path.
The weather needs to be nearly perfect for safe flights so I cannot tell you exactly which day the drone flight may happen. Wednesday, 8/5, is currently forecasted as the best day. If conditions change during the drone flight day, the flight may have to be suspended and re-scheduled.
