Celebrating 20 Years of Impact: A Night of Joy, Pride, and Legacy at the Sherman Center

20th Anniversary Celebration: Honor, Gratitude, and 20 Years of Excellence

On October 15th, The George and Betsy Sherman Center celebrated 20 years of dedication to education, leadership, and community partnership.

The evening was a joyful celebration of our shared history and accomplishments, featuring distinguished guests including founder Betsy Sherman and the President of UMBC Dr. Valerie Sheares Ashby.  Guests were treated to inspiring speeches from alumni, staff, and partners who shared touching personal stories of the Center’s impact over the last two decades.

Complemented by wonderful food, drinks, and vibrant conversation, the evening was a proud moment of accomplishment for the Sherman family and everyone who has played a part in our story.

Thank you to all who attended and celebrated with us as we look forward to continuing this vital mission for many years to come.
