This information is for Faculty and Staff concerning the resources available to them and their household members through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with Guidance Resources/ComPsych.
Huddles are interactive online support groups focused on education, skill building and peer connection. Guidance Resources also offers Huddle Webinars for those who prefer “listen and learn” opportunities, as well as Huddle Practices for those interested in joining a 10-15 minute guided practice, such as relaxation exercises, mindfulness meditation or stretching, to promote self-care moments during the day.
How to Huddle Up
Participants can view the calendar of upcoming Huddles on Guidance Resources or the GuidanceNow app and self-register for topics that resonate with them.
To join a session:
- Log on to Guidance Resources using the "USMEAP" web ID to do so.
- Scroll down to and click on Browse All Services.
- Choose the Online Huddles tile and accept the external link notification.

Guidance Resources, in partnership with ComPsych, provides employees with access to free confidential counseling and connections to attorneys who can help with a variety of issues, including:
- Family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support and adoption
- Immigration concerns
- Bankruptcy and credit issues
- Landlord/tenant issues, including eviction and lease questions
- Real estate and foreclosure questions
- Wills and living wills
