On September 18, 2025, the Maryland State Employees Supplemental Retirement Plans (MSRP) moved from their prior Plan Administrator, Nationwide, to their new Plan Administrator, Empower.
This does not affect those with an SRA with TIAA or Fidelity
In the transition from Nationwide to Empower, those with a SRA with MSRP were unable to view their accounts online, however, the blackout period has ended, and the transition of
plan administrator services for the MSRP 457(b), 401(k), 403(b), and 401(a) to Empower is complete.
Those with an MSRP SRA account now have full access to take advantage of the innovative features available through
Empower.
Their new website is mymsrp.com
The next steps for those with a MSRP Supplemental Retirement Account would be the following:
- You will need to create a new account login for Empower, so click here to register your Empower account quickly and easily.
- Confirm your address, phone number, and email; set your communication preferences, and designate or update your beneficiary.
- Be on the lookout for future communications from Empower to help you along your retirement journey.
Important Note:
For a period that ends 7 months from today (April 18, 2026), Nationwide will keep the following legacy website up so current MSRP participants will be able to login and retrieve any historical statements and account information that you might need: MarylandDC MSRP Login
