Effective today, July 1, 2026, the University System of Maryland (USM) has officially launched its new Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) program.

Updates to ETS:
Optional Code Field Removed: The "Optional Code" field has been removed. Any comments you previously entered there should now be placed in the Employee Comments field.
New "Time Category" Field: A new Time Category field is now available. Please use this field to specify payroll-related information when applicable, such as: Call Back Time, On-Call Pay, PFML Pay, or Shift Differential.
