Departments will soon have the ability to view nonexempt applications as soon as they are submitted in Page Up and in New status. Currently, nonexempt applications are reviewed for minimum qualifications by a member of the Talent Acquisition team prior to being forwarded to the hiring department. In order to align the nonexempt process with the exempt staff process, the hiring manager and/or search committee chair will now review nonexempt applications for minimum qualifications.
This change will take effect on Monday, February 2, 2026 for all newly submitted nonexempt job requisitions. Any position that is already in recruitment will continue to follow the current procedures until the position is filled.
As a reminder, all applicants must meet the minimum qualifications as written on the job posting in order to move forward in the hiring process.
A training session on application review will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The webinar will be recorded for future viewing.
