Cultivating Supportive Learning Relationships Through Mutual Mentorship

organized by Humanities Action Lab (HAL).

This Humanities Teaching Lab (HTLab)
is the second in a two-part series. NOTE: Attendance in the first
workshop is not required to attend this session.

Mutual Mentorship is a way to build mutually supportive learning relationships in our classrooms, organizations, and the rest of our lives.
At the March 31st in-person workshop, participants will:

- Connect with a mutual mentor and/or people doing mentorship work
- Tell stories about their shared needs and experiences
- Learn across traditional personal and institutional spaces to help bridge barriers to doing mutual aid work
- Build solidarity with each other and brainstorm how to ignite future collaborations for classroom and community partnerships
This HTLab will be co-facilitated by Leora Fuller, HAL's Learning and Coalition Facilitator; alongside Mastress, Workers Revolutionary Collective (Philadelphia); and Melody Magly, Brick City Mutual Aid (Newark).
We welcome the participation of community partners from Baltimore and beyond in this HTLab!
Together, we will grow collaborative relationships in the region with institutions and community partners who are dedicated to ethical, sustainable and mutually supportive action.
