Skill Builder & Ultra Essentials workshops focus on core components of Blackboard and other instructional technologies at UMBC. They are intended as introductory workshops for users who need to learn how to use core components & supporting technologies, or for users who want to refresh skills.
Agenda
By the end of the Assessments, Tests & Assignments workshop, faculty should be able to:
- Create an individual or group assessment (test or assignment)
- Import question banks and create question pools
- Create unique tests for students using randomization
- Enable and check SafeAssign on an assessment
- Set exceptions for due date, availability, and attempts
- Create an offline assignment
- Identify test proctoring options
