MCS has invited the co-founders of FORCE: Upsetting Rape Culture, a
Baltimore based creative activist collaboration, to speak to the UMBC
community about hacking media as activism, specifically in the context
of their recent campaigns mocking Victoria's Secret and Playboy, "Pink
Loves Consent" and “Playboy’s Top Ten Party Commandments: The Ultimate Guide to a Consensual Good Time.” Visit their website http://upsettingrapeculture.com/ to learn more about FORCE and their Art Actions. A small reception will follow the lecture.
To RSVP to the lecture, visit http://my.umbc.edu/groups/mcs/events/21159 (we'd appreciate a "paw," even if you can't attend!).
The flyer is attached.
