Dr. Thomas Nakayama is one of the most important theorists in the field of Intercultural Communication. He is professor of communication studies at Northeastern university. Nakayama is currently editor of the Journal of International and Intercultural Communication.
Nakayama's work focuses on the understanding of whiteness as a communication phenomenon.He is currently working on a co-edited book on critical intercultural communication. He is also working on a co-authored book on whiteness.
