Spectrum
Program for trans, nonbinary and gender-questioning students
Thursday, April 7, 2016 · 3 - 4 PM
On Campus : The Women's Center
The Spectrum program is for UMBC community members who identify as trans, genderqueer, gender fluid, outside of the gender binary, and/or those who are questioning their gender identity.
Sponsored by the Women’s Center and the Mosaic Center, this is a structured, topic-based program for students who are questioning and/or identify outside their assigned gender to discuss and share thoughts about a variety of topics related to identity and trans issues.
This program follows the Women's Center Brave Space model to provide a welcoming community and learning environment for UMBC's trans and gender-questioning students all across the gender spectrum.
For safety and confidentiality reasons, this is a closed meeting for those needing this intentional space and it is not appropriate for students to use the space for class research or interviews.
Spectrum meets on Thursdays at 3pm in the Women's Center. For more information, contact Jess at womens.center@umbc.edu or Joe at lgbtq@umbc.edu.
