On March 24, the UMBC Institute of Politics is hosting the inaugural Up for Science and Politics event, Understanding Data Centers. The event brings together UMBC researchers and Maryland policymakers to discuss the science and policy of data centers — a timely topic in Maryland.

Date: Tuesday, March 24, 2026
Time: 8:30 am to 10:00 am
Location: Room 312, University Center
