Welcome to Meditation @ UMBC, also known as Meditation Club. Here, we offer a safe haven for all individuals seeking mindfulness and inner peace. Through guided group meditation sessions, we aim to grow, learn, self-reflect, and become more mindful in our daily lives. Individuals of all spiritual and non-spiritual backgrounds are welcome here.
To become an official member, you must be a UMBC student and attend at least one meeting/meditation session. By coming to our sessions, you will be exposed to different forms of meditation and learn more about the practice in general. You do not need any prior knowledge on how to meditate, so please come as you are! Our meditations are guided by our wonderful faculty advisor.
