Seeking paid volunteer docents for SPARK: New Light at the Peale
Towson University and UMBC are recruiting paid volunteers to serve as docents for our SPARK: New Light exhibition at the Peale from August 18 - September 25.
Fridays: 3 - 7 pm
Saturdays, two shifts: 10 am -1 pm and 1 - 4 pm
Sundays, two shifts: 10 am -1 pm and 1 - 4 pm
Docents will be on-site to answer visitor inquiries and lightly monitor the large exhibition which is located in the second and third-floor galleries of the Peale (the Peale is accessible.)
Volunteers will be given a stipend of $12 an hour for their time, to be paid as a single stipend payment after the close of the exhibition in late September. Volunteers will not be considered employees of Towson University, UMBC, or the Peale.
Docent shifts available from August 18 -September 25:
Thursdays: 3 - 7 pmFridays: 3 - 7 pm
Saturdays, two shifts: 10 am -1 pm and 1 - 4 pm
Sundays, two shifts: 10 am -1 pm and 1 - 4 pm

We are ideally looking for volunteers who can take on several shifts to aid in scheduling and high preference will be given to current Towson University and UMBC students and recent alumni.
