Sammy Huh, Affiliate Artist in Voice and Director of UMBC's Opera Workshop, made his Washington Concert Opera debut singing the role of Hadji in their performance of Leo Delibes' opera Lakme last weekend. The concert was held at the Lisner Auditorium at GWU on May 22nd under the baton of Maestro Antony Walker.
A review in the Washington Classical Review said:
"Sammy Huh made a charmingly self-effacing Hadji, Lakme's childhood friend who helps her save Gerald's life."
