Affinity Group Name: Neurodivergent Affinity Group

Event Title: NDAG Working Luncheon

Date: 12/17/2025

Time: 12pm-2pm

Location: The UMBC Women's, Gender, & Equity Center lounge (The Commons 004)

Agenda:

·        Face-to-face networking among UMBC faculty & staff members/followers of NDAG

·        Brainstorm NDAG goals/action-plans for 2026

o   Maintain monthly leader mtgs

o   Maintain monthly virtual body doubling sessions

o   Increase faculty membership, visibility

o   Invite ND researchers/speakers to UMBC

o   Establish a ND resource library (similar to those of the Women's Center, Mosaic Center)

o   Network event with the ND undergraduate student group

o   Sensory room/space planning & development

o   Other ideas for making UMBC a welcoming and accessible workplace to attract ND faculty & staff (whose visibility supports ND student belonging too)

·        Encourage/maximize voting for the NDAG Co-Chair positions

o   Voting open through Dec. 23 2025

o   One Staff Co-Chair & one Faculty Co-Chair

o   Tory and Karen interim positions go through summer 2026; new co-chairs lead summer 2026 through summer 2028. Next election in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
