Folks,
Adebola and I pitched the Nigeria graduate student association to be recognized as Graduate Student Organization, which was approved by all the Senators present. Usually, most of the senators must vote yes to be recognized as a GSO (11 of 16 senators at minimum).
The benefit of this recognition are;
(1) It will allow us to book campus spaces for our events.
(2) Funding support by Graduate Student Association.
(3) Ability to collaborate with other GSOs.
