HOMECOMING RETRIEVER 5K DAWG RACE AND FAMILY FUN RUN
DATE: Saturday, October 26, 2024
TIME: 7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.
ELIGIBILITY: OPEN TO STUDENTS, STUDENT ORGS, FACULTY, AND STAFF
ROLE: Race Course Guide/ Post Race Volunteer
Responsibilities: Direct runners along the race course, ensuring they stay on the correct path. Provide encouragement and guidance to participants. Monitor for any safety hazards or issues along the course. Assist with post-race activities including gear check re-distribution, clean up, and Medal distribution.
Skills:
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to follow directions and work independently.
Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and walk or run portions of the course.
THANK YOU: VOLUNTEERS THAT COMPLETE THEIR ROLE WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A HOMECOMING CARNIVAL WRISTBAND TO BE USED ON 10/26/2024 ONLY AND 10 CARNIVAL GAME TICKETS.
