The event will open with a light dinner featuring traditional Russian and Central Asian dishes. A fashion-presentation of award-winning gowns by local designer Evgenia Luzhina-Salazar and performances from UMBC’s own Russian Choir, local musicians and dance groups, will follow dinner. At the close of the showcase, all guests will be invited down the hall to University Center 312 to enjoy the open dance floor and DJ.
This one of a kind event will take place Wednesday, May 10, 8:00-11 PM, in the University Center Ballroom. Tickets are available at the Commons Information Center at no cost to UMBC students. Tickets for non-students will be available for $5 ($10 at the door).
