The Department of Social Work will be offering SOWK 374- Social Work with Immigrants and Refugees during Winter Session 2022! Take a 3 credit SOWK class with a Culture GEP designation over the mini semester!
This course provides an introduction to the information and skills necessary for generalist social work practice with immigrants and refugees. Its purpose is defined as the restoration, maintenance, and enhancement of the social functioning of individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities and the promotion of social justice.
