Hi all,
I hope you are doing well as we wrap up the semester. We would like to have a meeting before Memorial Day to catch up on each other’s activities and plan for the coming year. Below is a draft agenda. Please feel free to suggest additional topics.
- Story work, storytelling and digital storytelling (as individuals, groups and communities)
- “Story work for a Just Future”—the International DST conference will be held virtually June 21-22. UMBC will be participating!
- The connected subsequent conferences will be in in 2022 and hosted by University of Loughborough and 2023 focused on community engaged and community building story work and hosted by UMBC, Montgomery College and the Smithsonian.
- Review of this past year’s projects
- Hopes and plans and needs for next year
- Update on Charlotte’s DST workshops
- Update on the Montgomery College DST interns working with UMBC faculty and projects this past year. We are looking for projects for the interns for next year
