Join Dr. Julie Oakes on February 6 at 1 PM to learn about her study abroad program, Art and Power in Japan. Paw this to let us know you will be attending!
Participants on this program will spend three weeks exploring Nara, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Tokyo by viewing art and architecture as instrumental to change in pre-modern and modern Japan. Earn a total of three UMBC undergraduate credits for HIST 392 or ASIA 392 (GEP: Art & Humanities or Culture).
Program dates: June 12 to July 3, 2023
Application deadline: February 28

Program fee includes academic credit, airport pick-up and drop-off in country, on-site accommodations, some meals, cultural visit entries, excursions, international travel insurance, and mandatory university fees.
