Are you interested in studying abroad, a citizen or national of the United States and receiving a Pell Grant? The Benjamin A. Gilman Study Abroad Scholarship program is here to help you make your study abroad plans a reality!

Plan ahead by attending Study Abroad 101 if you haven't already to jumpstart your study abroad application process. Then, apply for the Benjamin A Gilman scholarship! The application deadline for this upcoming cycle is March 9, 2023. This scholarship is awarded to 1 in 4 applicants! 

Awards range between up to $5,000 for Summer programs and $8,000 for semester programs. These funds can be used to help pay for study abroad expenses such as program tuition, housing while abroad, books and course materials. There is also no GPA requirement to qualify for the Gilman Scholarship.
